HES and ZIS Parent Safety Message 4-18-24

Hilton Elementary and Zillah Intermediate School Families,

Earlier this morning, there were police activities around both schools. Officials conducted the activities prior to the school day to avoid safety concerns. Currently, the situation is resolved and secure, leaving no safety issues for staff or students. Officials have assured the Zillah School District that the schools can operate as normal, including walking routes between and around schools.
Authorities will remain at both sites throughout the morning as they conclude their investigation.

Familias de la Escuela Primaria Hilton y la Escuela Intermedia Zillah,

Esta mañana, hubo actividades policiales alrededor de ambas escuelas. Los oficiales llevaron a cabo las actividades antes del inicio del día escolar para evitar preocupaciones de seguridad. Actualmente, la situación está resuelta y segura, sin dejar problemas de seguridad para el personal o los estudiantes. Los oficiales han asegurado al Distrito Escolar de Zillah que las escuelas pueden operar con normalidad, incluyendo las rutas de caminata entre y alrededor de las escuelas.

Their contributions to the district have helped so many, making the ZSD a great place to work and learn.
